Commercial Doors

Our Commercial Doors

Commercial Steel Doors are available in a variety of panel designs and colors. There are three major types of commercial doors.

1.Sectional Door – This is the most popular. The door is made up of panels and travels back on tracks. The ribbed panel design is used most often in East Texas. It can be insulated or non-insulated. Amarr Model 2402, 2412, and 2422 is available in White, Gray, Brown and Black. Other colors may be available in different models. There is a variety of window options. We can also get this door in all glass sections, known as full view glass. Standard Lift Tracks break back at the header. Other Track options include – High lifted up the wall before the door breaks back; Tracks can also Follow the Pitch of the Roof. So, what is the difference between a Commercial Door and a Residential Door? The main difference is appearance. A commercial door is also 2” wider than a residential door. For example, a 10 ft commercial door actually measures 10’2” but a 10 ft residential door measures 10’0”.

2. Roll Up Door – This door is a single sheet of corrugated steel. They do not travel back on horizontal tracks. This steel curtain coils up on a roll at the top of the inside of the garage. Also referred to as Drum Doors. A chain hoist is included in sizes larger than 10x10. They are available in many sizes and colors and 3 major models.

  • Self-Storage Doors – we refer to them as Mini Warehouse doors. Used for smaller size openings
  • Light-Duty Sheet Doors – excellent economical choice, steel slide bolt locks attached to the bottom bar.
  • Heavy-Duty Sheet Doors – are engineered for more demanding applications. These doors are typically found on warehouse docks.

3. Rolling Steel Doors - These doors are used in Warehouses and Commercial buildings and are available in larger sizes. These doors consist of Slats, they are much thinner and can be rolled up tightly just above the door opening. This door is the heaviest commercial door and can withstand a high traffic area.

This open-back commercial steel door is available in a variety of steel gauges and features tongue and groove construction with a bottom weather seal to guard against the elements.
